Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled finishing manager who is motivated and detail-oriented. Role will be to work with the team and lead the successful completion of a prestigious mixed-use commercial and residential project. This role requires a deep understanding of finishing processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a complex project within a demanding environment.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage all aspects of the finishing works, ensuring seamless integration with the overall project scope and meeting the highest standards of quality
Develop and implement comprehensive finishing plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and timely delivery
Collaborate effectively with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of finishing requirements with the overall project goals
Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services, and maintaining high standards of quality
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, prioritizing safety and a secure work environment
Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to finishing works, including delays, budget issues, or quality concerns, ensuring smooth project execution
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, schedules, and budgets, ensuring clear and organized records
Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, keeping everyone informed and ensuring transparency

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Finishing Manager on mixed-use commercial and residential projects, ideally with experience working for Tier 1 contractors
Extensive knowledge of finishing processes, including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, and carpentry, and the ability to manage complex installations
A meticulous eye for detail, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality finishes that meet the highest standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and stakeholders
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
A proactive and problem-solving approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and overcome challenges
