Job Description:

This role offers the Fire Engineer uncapped career progression, with a clear path up to Directorship, and the autonomy to shape your role in line with your ambitions. The specialist team delivers fire safety solutions across both public and private sectors, including healthcare, education, residential, stadia, and industrial projects. The role involves collaborating with clients, design teams, and enforcing authorities while adhering to industry best practices.

Job Responsibility:

Applying fire safety principles, regulations, and technical knowledge
Managing small projects from inception to completion under supervision
Developing an awareness of the responsibilities of a professional Fire Engineer
Adhering to industry best practices and company quality assurance standards
Ensuring compliance with the IFE’s Code of Professional Conduct

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in fire safety engineering or a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. building services or structural engineering)
A strong understanding of fire safety regulations and technical standards
The ability to propose and justify fire safety solutions using technical knowledge and case studies
Experience managing project workload and financial procedures
A proactive approach to problem-solving and professional development
The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

What we offer:

£55,000 – £65,000
28 days annual + bank
