Job Description:

Join our dynamic finance team as a Fixed Asset Accountant, where you'll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, growth, and teamwork. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing fixed asset records, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end closing activities — all while contributing to the success of a globally recognized organization.

Job Responsibility:

maintain and update fixed asset ledger accounts for US GAAP and statutory reporting
perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
calculate and record monthly depreciation for fixed assets
prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
oversee physical asset counts, tagging process, and asset disposals
support internal and external audit requests
collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide accurate reporting and respond to inquiries
participate in process transitions by supporting onboarding of new processes
contribute to process development by recommending automation opportunities and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

3-4 years of relevant experience in fixed assets or general accounting
experience with SAP and Blackline is a plus
certifications or special skills relevant to the role are a great advantage
excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
solid knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting principles
analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving
experience in process and project management is appreciated
innovative mindset with analytical and conceptual thinking skills
fluency in English, both written and spoken, along with an additional European language

Nice to have:

experience with SAP and Blackline

additional European language
