Job Description:

The Floor Supervisor at Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel ensures quality housekeeping standards, supervises staff, coordinates with different departments, and addresses guest needs while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. to ensure quality standards
Run sold room reports, verify room status, and manage cleaning priorities
Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff
Coordinate efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
Welcome and assist guests, addressing their needs
Maintain adherence to quality standards
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms
Ensure adherence to safety and security policies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance
Ability to work across an entire shift with activities like standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking
Effective communication using clear and professional language
Ability to visually verify information in formats like small print.
