Job Description:

The Voyage Global Leadership Development Program is a full-time, paid development program for recent university graduates. Participants gain hands-on experience in hotel operations, leadership training, and mentorship from senior leaders. The program lasts 18 months and prepares participants for supervisory or entry-level management roles at Marriott International.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise the restaurant service period, tending to the guests and exceeding their expectations
Fuel guest’s curiosity and inspire brilliance throughout the complete food and beverage experience
Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence with each customer experience
Assist with the bar operational tasks if required
Be a dynamic and thoughtful supervisor by empowering and supporting your team
Ensure the outlet is adequately stocked and clean at all times
Supervise the food and beverage team in completing general operational tasks
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings
Plan and execute team building activities so associates feel valued for their contributions

Requirements:

Management and leadership aspirations
Recently graduated from a university or hotel school within the past year (Bachelors degree or equivalent higher level education required)
Previously supervisory or team leader experience
Working rights in Australia
Enthusiastic to escalate your career and a desire for personal & professional growth
Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast paced environment
Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
Superior critical thinking & interpersonal communication skills
Ability to foster relationships & work collaboratively
