Job Description:

This role provides Non-US accredited pharmacy graduates the opportunity to complete US Internship hours and prepare for licensure exams. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy operations, customer service, and leadership under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Job Responsibility:

Greet each customer in a courteous and professional manner both in-store and at the drive-thru window
assist all pharmacy and front store customers with their questions and concerns
maintain customer/patient confidentiality according to HIPAA and company standards
process prescriptions including translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting and measuring drugs
support supervising pharmacist in dispensing drugs, reviewing prescriptions, and monitoring compliance
coordinate/implement training and development of Pharmacy Support Staff
maintain in-stock by ensuring all inventory management policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally
strong communication and presentation skills
0 to 3 years of prior related work experience.

Nice to have:

Eligibility to immunize
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
