Job Description:

As a Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate, you will complete required US Internship hours, develop your pharmacy knowledge and skills, and build upon your education to serve in a retail pharmacy setting. This includes patient care, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory management under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Contribution to community health care and continuous professional learning is emphasized.

Job Responsibility:

Greet each customer in a courteous and professional manner
assist pharmacy and front store customers with questions and concerns
answer telephone with a warm and friendly greeting
comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
maintain customer/patient confidentiality
adhere to CVS workflow standards
process prescriptions
resolve third-party rejections
perform all prescription pick-up procedures
maintain in-stock inventory
deliver additional health care services
coordinate training and development of support staff
complete required licensure and training
lift and exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
0 to 3 years of prior work experience
ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly
regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
eligibility to immunize (preferred)
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
strong communication and presentation skills
