Job Description:

As a member of the Baxter Finance team, you have the critical thinking and analytical mindset that allows you to translate data into meaningful, actionable insights that help teams learn and adapt along the way. We guide our internal partners to understand financial opportunities or realities that move Baxter forward and closer to our mission to save and sustain lives.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborating with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE), as well as in-country finance and business partners
Contributing to monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecast processes, annual budgeting, and long-range planning
Supplying valuable business analytics, operational improvement projects, and ad-hoc initiatives
Crafting standard reporting packages for R&D on a regular basis
Providing analysis, reporting services, and presentation materials for the MRR, QRR, and Forecast scenarios to support Global R&D and business
Forecasting watershed & OCOS and uploading information into the GBRD
Comparing forecasts against budgets, prior year, and other scenarios
Maintaining the Deal Model and the GST entity level Reporting
Performing variance analysis to explain performance differences and making recommendations for improvement
Developing positive relationships with finance and business customers
Providing support to finance and R&D leaders
Loading R&D expenses for budget and Forecast adjustments into the Financial Planning system

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Planning, or Budgeting
Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of BI tools is helpful
