We are on the lookout for a diligent FP&A to be a part of our team based in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will act as the vital link among finance supply chain inventory, Purchasing CSR shipping receiving, and digital technology teams to ensure precise data flow and process realignment. Besides, you will also be tasked with monitoring and troubleshooting system transactions and working on financial closeout processes.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the key point of contact between multiple teams to ensure accurate data flow and process compliance
Monitor and troubleshoot system transactions in JDE to ensure correct financial data recording and processing
Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies in inventory movement, work order movement, invoicing, cost allocations, and tracking
Ensure alignment of financial processes with operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Actively participate in meetings to address cost-related concerns and provide financial insights
Oversee the improvement of processes between cross-functional teams
Manage and resolve discrepancies in reports, journal entries, transfers to ensure accuracy
Perform audits on journal entries, work order closing within the MRO finance team to ensure precision
Designate flow of costs into accounts and work with sister sites to ensure costs are updated and communicated
Assist with journal entries for month-end closeout and reporting as needed
Support financial closeout processes by ensuring data accuracy in cost allocations and reporting metrics
Work flexible hours with sister sites to ensure seamless communication transition into ERP systems
Requirements:
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in reporting and creating financial statements
Mastery of Microsoft Excel including complex functions and macros
Previous experience in operations and compliance, ensuring all processes follow regulations
Experience with payroll functions and invoice management
Knowledge of materials handling, shipping, and discrepancy resolution
Solid understanding of budget processes, including forecasting and variance analysis
Ability to conduct internal audits and familiar with auditing processes
Degree in finance or a related field is preferred
Proficient in reconciliations, and able to troubleshoot any discrepancies
Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Proven experience as a liaison between departments or with external stakeholders
Proficiency in financial reporting and creating journal entries
Experience with month-end close processes and finalizing closing documents
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or at least 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
Minimum of 10 years in finance, payroll, cost analysis, and reconciliation with a degree
Experience in MRO operations is preferred
