Job Description:

Immediate opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator based in Norfolk, Virginia. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, managing a multi-line phone system, providing excellent customer service, and handling administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate a multi-line phone system, directing calls to appropriate staff members
  • Provide top-notch customer service to all visitors and callers
  • Utilize Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, to manage customer information and perform data entry tasks
  • Maintain organized files and records to ensure accurate and easy access to information
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and administrative assistance abilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required
  • Process customer applications with precision and efficiency
  • Maintain customer credit records with accuracy and diligence

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Non-Profit sector
  • Demonstrated ability in providing Administrative Assistance
  • Proficient in answering a Multi-Line Phone System
  • Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively
  • Experience in Data Entry, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and reports
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to manage emails, appointments, and tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, format, and edit documents
  • Experience in Organizing Files, with the ability to maintain an effective and efficient filing system
