Job Description:

We are extending an invitation for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the Property Management industry in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities including the processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, maintaining financial records, and assisting with audit preparations.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately and efficiently processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
Ensuring the integrity of the check numbering system while preparing weekly check runs
Maintaining precise coding, input, and filing of financial documentation
Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and financial accounts
Assisting external auditors by preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries
Regularly working with property accounts
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of system reports

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrable experience with account reconciliation
Previous experience in bank reconciliations is required
Must be adept at using Yardi property management software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
Knowledge of general ledger posting and monthly & year-end close processes
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
