We are extending an invitation to a Full Charge Bookkeeper to be a part of our team in the financial services industry. The role is based in Tualatin, Oregon, 97062, United States and involves managing bookkeeping duties for multiple clients across diverse industries, with an emphasis on tax filings and payroll administration.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately record all financial transactions for a range of clients in QuickBooks or other accounting software
Regularly prepare and update financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
Handle the processing and preparation of a variety of tax filings for clients
Coordinate and prepare client tax documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness in filing
Use the Gusto system for payroll processing, ensuring accurate and punctual payroll submissions, tax deductions, and compliance with employment laws
Keep precise client records and assist with year-end reporting and audits
Work closely with clients for timely submission of necessary financial documents and resolving any accounting issues
Provide clients with financial insights and ensure alignment of financial reports with tax filing deadlines and regulatory requirements
Maintain a regular communication with clients to provide updates and address any financial concerns
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Demonstrable proficiency in bookkeeping
Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations
Proficient in using QuickBooks Online for financial management and accounting
Ability to handle entire accounting cycle, from recording transactions to preparing financial statements
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
Strong numerical skills and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
