Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Oversee all bookkeeping duties for clients, including managing day-to-day accounting functions, financial close processes, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), payroll, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet maintenance
Process payroll and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Collaborate with clients to create and maintain budgets, forecasting tools, and cash flow reports
Coordinate with tax professionals and auditors to ensure compliance and timely filing of all necessary documents
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the highest standard of service for clients

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks (desktop and online), Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with significant experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with both internal teams and external clients
Ability to adapt and thrive in a variety of business cultures and environments

Nice to have:

Experience with multiple clients/industries
Experience with ERP systems
