Job Description:

We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team located in Alexandria, Virginia. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing all daily accounting operations, including but not limited to reconciliations, payroll allocations, payables, and the creation of monthly management reports and financial statements. This role is critical to the financial stability and growth of our operations within the industry.

Job Responsibility:

Handle all daily accounting tasks
Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements
Perform monthly reconciliations and weekly payroll allocations and payables
Utilize expertise in project and completion-based accounting
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Download accounting transactions for integration with multiple systems
Develop proficiency in troubleshooting connection issues between various tech applications
Record and pay vendor invoices
Prepare daily, real-time job costing
Record payroll into proper accounts and jobs
Prepare 1099s, annual business license, and business personal property tax filings
Maintain accounting work papers

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Well-versed with all Accounting Functions
Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience in preparing and managing Annual Budget
Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis
Knowledge of Project Accounting
Familiarity with Construction Accounting
