This role involves managing the organization's financial records, ensuring precision, adherence, and timely reporting. The position requires excellent communication skills and the capacity to maintain high productivity levels due to its extensive interaction with other departments.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee full cycle bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, and executing bank reconciliations
Use accounting software to keep financial records updated and accurate
Handle accounts payable and credit card receipts in a timely manner
Execute human resource tasks, such as managing employee files, onboarding and offboarding staff, and conducting phone screenings
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including payroll tax payments, 401K submission payments, and insurance invoice reconciliation
Support the Executive Director and CFO in daily operations, including making travel arrangements, reservations, and ordering supplies
Regularly audit financial records for accuracy
Collaborate with other departments to collect financial data and resolve discrepancies
Aid in the processes of closing the month-end and year-end accounts
Assist in the preparation and overseeing of the budget
Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Provide assistance during financial audits
Maintain a respectful and courteous approach towards clients, staff, and the public
Undertake additional tasks as required
Requirements:
Proficiency in the role of a Full Charge Bookkeeper
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
Familiarity and experience with Full Cycle Payroll
Knowledge and experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
