Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our valued clients. This is your chance to leverage your accounting expertise in a fast-paced and rewarding professional environment.

Job Responsibility:

Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
Manage financial records, general ledger entries, and payroll processing
Assist in preparing financial statements and generating reports for management review
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all financial operations
Address discrepancies in financial records and provide solutions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper (minimum 3+ years of relevant experience)
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (but not required)
