My client is a family-owned commercial real estate company headquartered just outside of Washington, D.C. with a need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for all operational accounting using QuickBooks. Bookkeepers with small business experience are highly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidates for this Full Charge Bookkeeper opportunity will have experience in QuickBooks Online, proficiency in managing vendor payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly financials.
Job Responsibility:
Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks Online
Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization
Post donations, monitoring lockbox payments
Code, match, batch, and process checks and ACHs payments
Assisting in preparing monthly financials
Assist with preparing client billing
Set up new vendors
Assist with collection activity
Process credit card reconciliations, EFTs & ACHs
Processing 1099s and W9s
Requirements:
3 + years experience in bookkeeping
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
Ability to process high-volume vendor payments
BS/BA degree
Stable job history
