Job Description:

This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a Fund Accountant based in Fairfield with hybrid work and significant growth potential. The role involves overseeing financial statements, NAV calculations, audits, and special projects. The employer, Robert Half, provides competitive compensation and benefits.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with the Fund Controller in the review of quarterly and annual GAAP Financial statements prepared by the fund administrator
Shadow and oversee the calculation of Daily NAVs, ensuring accurate calculations by an outside administrator
Actively engage with external auditors to facilitate audits and quarterly reviews in a timely manner
Provide necessary year-end supporting documents for audit purposes
Assist in special projects as needed

Requirements:

BS in Accounting, Finance or related
CPA is a plus
1-3 years of fund accounting experience
