Job Description:

Join IKEA as a Furniture Planner to help design functional and efficient kitchens and wardrobes for customers. Job Responsibility:

  • Planning & Designing kitchens & wardrobes for customers in both initial and follow up appointments to provide accurate plans, along with installation and custom worktop quotations where appropriate
  • You actively engage with our customers identifying their needs, inspiring and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home
  • Support maximising sales by ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop
  • Support with responding to the customer emails, securing payments both in store and remotely
  • You will communicate with customers in a variety of ways, including email, text and calls starting from pre appointment calls, and continuing through planning and purchase of their kitchen
  • You will support the overall customer shopping experience in the Planning and Order Point by completing other tasks when needed this may include replenishing products, picking and handing out orders, supporting with general customer enquires.

Requirements:

  • Experience in kitchen or wardrobe planning is advantageous, although not required
  • You have an interest in people’s life at home and look to provide customers with personalised solutions that meet their needs
  • You have experience working in a customer oriented business, working closely with sales targets and customer conversion rates
  • Confidence to take personal initiatives and be open to change, with the ability to both find solutions to complex problems and be able to communicate to the customer
  • Confident in learning and working with a variety of computer programmes including Microsoft Office suite and Planning Tools.
