Responsible for general maintenance of production equipment and facilities including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics systems. Additional responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, EHS inspections, and participating in shutdown activities.
Job Responsibility:
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatically and hydraulically repairs on all production equipment
Trouble shoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics problems
Perform preventive maintenance work according to established standards
Participate in duties and activities during shut down period
Responsible for conducting EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards and environmental aspects
Analyze EHS incidents (including near misses) to find causes and take corrective action
Requirements:
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatically and hydraulically repairs on all production equipment
Trouble shoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics problems
Fill out the necessary documentation to comply with specifications and SOP'S
Perform preventive maintenance work according to established standards
Fill out preventive maintenance reports
Responsible for equipment and tools
Must keep work area in the most clean and orderly conditions
Conform to Baxter GMP and Safety regulations
Capable of understanding schematics and blueprints
Self-starter and capable of working with minimum supervision
Capable of performing calibration of equipment
Must repair and provide maintenance to equipment by utilization sophisticated testing equipment, manuals, manufacturer show instruction, etc
Participate in duties and activities during shut down period
Responsible for conducting EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards and environmental aspects
Follow the EHS applicable procedures and analyze EHS incidents (including near misses) to find causes and take corrective action
Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Associated degree in Electronic or Industrial Mechanic or BA preferred
Zero to 3 years of related work experience
Experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment, preferably in a sterile processing or similar environment
Thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Willingness to work in shifts and on-call duties as required
Certifications in industrial maintenance or related fields are a plus
