Job Description:

The Gardener is responsible for maintaining the appearance of property grounds, including planting, trimming, and maintaining flowers, trees, and shrubs. They also operate equipment, maintain irrigation systems, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor property grounds
Maintain appearance of fountains, planters, and other features
Install new flowers, grass, trees, and shrubs
Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes
Replace and transplant trees, flowers, and shrubs
Trim and prune trees and shrubs
Edge grass in hard-to-reach areas
Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and raking leaves
Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems
Remove and bag trash from exterior trash cans
Operate dump trucks, tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles
Wash, clean, and re-fuel equipment
Report defective equipment, accidents, and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Support team goals
Adhere to quality standards
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to work on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to use ladders
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills
