Job Description:

This onsite position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with hands-on experience in fixed assets management and proficiency with Sage Intacct. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
Track and manage fixed asset schedules, including capitalization, amortization, and reporting
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating related financial reports
Utilize Sage Intacct to oversee financial transactions and reporting
recommend and execute system-based improvements for better efficiency
Support the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other management reports
Ensure adherence to internal controls and applicable accounting regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Work closely with auditors during financial audits and provide required documentation promptly

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, specifically in general ledger accounting
Prior experience managing fixed assets is required
Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
