As the General Manager acting a key leadership position overseeing this organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all areas of Restaurant operations including direct supervision and leadership of company managers & staff, creating or updating training & development plans, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and service levels, lead strategic planning and growth initiatives. Furthermore, this role is also responsible for managing financial management and planning as well as oversight of personnel/payroll-related administrative duties.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all areas of the restaurant, making critical decisions pertaining to guest service
assess staffing needs and carry out recruitment as necessary
implement changes and policies to ensure that management and staff adhere to company procedures
monitor and adhere to company standards and service levels to balance sales increase and cost minimization
ensure the completion of all financial and personnel/payroll related administrative duties
enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
maintain a detail-oriented image of the restaurant
estimate food and beverage costs and coordinate with the home office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies
respond to customer complaints promptly, taking appropriate actions to convert dissatisfied guests into return guests
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in operational & financial leadership
prior working experience as a General Manager or in similar general management functions
preferred industry experience includes Restaurant/Hospitality, Manufacturing/Production, or Construction sectors
proven track record in Business Development and Capital Management
familiarity with Aloha POS and Servsafe would be a plus
experience in Cost Analysis, Cost Control, and Cost Management
previous experience creating and executing Cost Savings and Cost Reductions strategies is a plus
experience with Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis is a plus
ability to manage key Invoicing data for Vendors/Suppliers
experience in Cash Management and Cash Flow Position/Analysis highly desired
Nice to have:
familiarity with Aloha POS and Servsafe
previous experience creating and executing Cost Savings and Cost Reductions strategies
experience with Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis
