We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead the operations and sales functions of Four Points by Sheraton Richmond Airport. This role is responsible for creating a positive work environment, ensuring superior guest satisfaction, and driving financial performance. The ideal candidate will be a motivational leader with a strong ability to develop teams, optimize revenue, and maintain brand standards.
Job Responsibility:
Inspire and mentor team members, holding managers accountable for departmental success
Foster a guest-centric culture, empowering staff to deliver outstanding service and resolve guest concerns effectively
Create an environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and engaged
Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring excellence in cleanliness, maintenance, and service
Utilize financial expertise to control labor and operational expenses while maximizing profitability
Develop strategic initiatives that capitalize on market demand and improve RevPAR and RGI performance
Work with the Director of Sales to implement business and marketing plans that drive revenue growth
Propose and manage the annual budget, identifying opportunities for capital improvements
Ensure superior guest experiences, leading to high satisfaction and loyalty
Represent the hotel in the local community, maintaining strong relationships with industry groups, civic organizations, and top clients
Collaborate with department managers to implement initiatives that enhance guest service and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of General Manager experience in a full-service hotel (Starwood, Hilton, IHG, or Marriott experience required)
Proven success in guest service excellence, revenue growth, and profitability management
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills
Proficient in hospitality technology and financial reporting.
