Job Description:

We are currently looking for a General Trade Manager for one of the lead MNC players in the FMCG skincare and personal care space. The role includes managing Area Sales Managers, building distributor relationships, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

Manage 4 Area Sales Managers to expand market reach and drive sales within the General Trade channel across Central, North, South, and East Malaysia regions
Cultivate strong relationships with key distributors, resellers, and retailers, providing support and resources to ensure their success and optimize channel performance
Analyze channel performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions based on key metrics (Net Sales, IMS, DIH, etc.) to ensure business goals are consistently met
Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to ensure customer satisfaction, drive product launches and promotions, and achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of FMCG sales experience
General Trade and Distributor Management experience is essential
Skincare/personal care industry experience is desirable
Achievement-oriented leader with a strong business acumen.

Skincare/personal care industry experience is desirable.
