Job Description:

The Business Risk and Control Senior Officer will lead the Monitoring and Testing for the transformed Manager Control Assessment (MCA) transformation for Global Market Risk, assisting management in exercising control over Operational and Compliance Risk, and guiding standards and procedures to conform to enterprise requirements

Job Responsibility:

Support the Central Manager Control Assessment (MCA) transformation for Global Market Risk, as well as lead Monitoring and Testing
Work with Management on governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA, i.e. Risk & Control Self-Assessment) as required by the MCA Standard
Accountable for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework
Assess the need for any self-identified issues and ensure adequate governance and training are in place to support management of Risk profiles
Conduct control monitoring, handle deficiencies, and escalate issues for resolution
Direct teams on the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the MCA through controls prior to and after execution of processes
Assess adherence to MCA Standard through QA and Risk Appetite monitoring

Requirements:

Previous Market Risk Management experience, familiarity with Market Risk processes and 3rd Party Risk models
Prior MCA and controls testing experience is preferred
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
SQL, Perl or Python, Matlab or R, Excel VBA knowledge
Database administrator experience is a plus
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
