Job Description:

The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in managing grants, tracking reimbursements, and maintaining financial records. This role provides a contract to permanent position opportunity in the non-profit sector. This is a part time job opportunity around 25-30 hours a week.

Job Responsibility:

Effectively manage and monitor grants received from federal and foundation sources
Monitor reimbursements and ensure they correspond with outgoing funds
Hold the responsibility for monthly financial reporting
Supervise revenue tracking to ensure financial stability and transparency
Use accounting software systems, specifically Abila MIP, for precise record-keeping
Perform accounting functions and auditing to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Engage in budget processes to efficiently manage grant funds
Oversee cash activity to ensure correct allocation and usage of funds

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit sector
Proficiency in Abila MIP software
Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems
A strong understanding of Accounting Functions
Proven experience in Auditing
Knowledge of Budget Processes in a non-profit environment
Experience with Cash Activity management
Expertise in Federal Grant application and management
