Job Description:

The Group Housing Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas is responsible for processing reservation requests, changes, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy in room blocks and reservations, and providing exceptional guest service. The role involves following company policies, maintaining professional appearance, and supporting team goals.

Job Responsibility:

Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations
Identify guest reservation needs
Verify availability of room type and rate
Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies
Accommodate and document special requests
Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations
Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
Communicate information regarding designated VIP reservations
Input and access data in reservation system
Respond to challenges for accommodating rooming requests
Oversee accuracy of room blocks and reservations
Input group rooming lists using reservation systems
Revise room blocks to maintain required number of available rooms
Set-up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policies

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
