Job Description:

This school is a highly regarded and thriving co-educational international school accepting students aged 3-18. At Secondary level (11-18) it is almost exclusively boarding, modelled entirely on the UK independent sector. They follow a blended British and Chinese national curriculum and are an accredited Excel testing centre for IGCSEs and A-Levels. The majority of teaching staff live on campus in excellent, fully furnished apartments. The School achieves excellent academic results within a holistic teaching environment and is sending its graduates to some of the best Universities in the West. Students participate in 2 hours per day of Sport and follow an extensive Performing Arts programme. The 'Three As' summarise this school's approach; they are: Academic Attainment, Attitudes, and Abilities. In other words, at their school, the development of traditional intellectual competencies goes hand in hand with the development of character and life skills.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years post qualifying teaching experience and previous leadership experience
Experience of students with EAL highly desirable
Previous international experience not essential but welcomed
Experience of a boarding school environment a distinct advantage
You must be willing to contribute to boarding life
You will be in a boarding environment and must be comfortable with the fact that there will be some evening duties (1 night per week) and weekend duties (one per month)
Ambitious and keen to progress your career
