Job Description:

This school is an international extension of a well established and highly respected UK school (Wycombe Abbey). The Hangzhou school offers full boarding school education to students from G1 through to G12 (Years 2 to 13) with outstanding facilities for learning, innovation and enterprise, performing arts and sport. The students are taught in both Mandarin and English. Framed by green hills and Lake panoramas, Hangzhou is a renowned tourist destination offering low cost living.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years post qualifying teaching experience in a similar role
experience to A-level (or equivalent) highly desirable
experience of students with EAL highly desirable
previous international experience not essential but welcomed
experience of a boarding school environment a distinct advantage
you must be willing to contribute to boarding life
ambitious and keen to progress your career
open minded, adaptable and willing to support the development of a founding school
must be comfortable with the fact that there will be some evening duties (1 night per week) and weekend duties (one per month)

Nice to have:

experience to A-level (or equivalent)
experience of students with EAL
previous international experience
