Job Description:

A Healthcare Regulatory/Advisory Solicitor is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a leading Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. The position involves handling Healthcare Regulatory matters, inquests, litigation, mental health and capacity law, public law, governance and patient safety investigations, CQC and health care regulation, confidentiality, and information law. Applications are invited from Solicitors with a solid track record in Healthcare Regulatory work and strong advocacy skills. The firm offers a great work-life balance and extensive benefits.

Job Responsibility:

Inquests
litigation including Court of Protection, judicial review and mental health tribunal matters
mental health and mental capacity law including Deprivation of Liberty
public law advising commissioning and service provider organisations on governance, powers and responsibilities, as well as funding and treatment decision making
governance and patient safety investigations
CQC and related health care regulation
confidentiality
information law including DPA/FOIA

Requirements:

Solid track record undertaking Healthcare Regulatory or Inquests work
strong advocacy skills
