Job Description:

Are you a trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and thinking about making the move to sunny QLD? Then we want to hear from you! Brisbane City Council - One of Queensland's Leading Transport Employers is currently recruiting for multiple HVM’s across Brisbane to assist with maintaining and servicing their expanding bus fleet.

Job Responsibility:

Perform diagnostic assessments and mechanical repairs on a diverse range of vehicles and plant equipment
Conduct preventative maintenance, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes
Manage parts inventory while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the workshop
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely service delivery
Maintain comprehensive records of all work performed, including parts and materials utilized

Requirements:

Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate is mandatory
Proven industry experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
