Job Description:

High School English Teacher (to DP level) position at a rapidly expanding school group in Guangzhou, Southern China. The campus offers a multicultural and future-oriented curriculum, including the IB programme.

Job Responsibility:

Teach high school English to DP level
Actively participate in academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
Create a successful learning environment
Ensure high standards of teaching and learning
Support and enhance teaching with digital tools

Requirements:

2+ years of post-qualification experience
Strong knowledge and experience and/or enthusiasm to teach to the IB curriculum framework
Ideally will have experience of working in a bilingual or multicultural context, with sensitivity to the cultural differences
Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning and an ability to create a successful learning environment
Show accountability for each student's progress and well-being
Have a commitment to reflection and improvement of personal practice
Well-versed in various teaching resources including digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team, with a willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
You will understand the special challenges and opportunities that come with being a start up school.
