We are working with a leading company in Carlsbad, CA that is looking for an analytical and detail-focused HR Administrator with HRIS experience. As an integral part of the HR team, this role will support various HR functions, ensuring the smooth management of employee data and compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain HRIS databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information and generating reports when needed
Oversee the onboarding process through the HRIS system, including background checks and ensuring proper paperwork is completed
Monitor and manage compliance for federal, state, and internal HR policies
Organize, maintain, and digitally archive HR documentation, including contracts, tax forms, and employee records
Assist payroll by ensuring employee data and benefit deductions in the HRIS system are correct
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
At least 2 years of experience as an HR Administrator, with expertise in HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or similar)
Strong analytical and data entry skills, with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and HR reporting systems
Familiarity with employment regulations such as FMLA, COBRA, and ACA compliance
PHR, SHRM-CP, or HRIP certification highly desirable
Nice to have:
PHR, SHRM-CP, or HRIP certification
