Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting HR processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a positive employee experience. Job Responsibility:

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, tracking required documentation, and ensuring a seamless experience. Manage offboarding processes for departing employees, including exit interviews and final paperwork
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling. Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an efficient recruitment process
  • Benefits Administration: Support employees in understanding available benefits. Assist with open enrollment periods and updates for healthcare, retirement plans, and other benefits programs
  • HR Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Handle sensitive employee data with the utmost confidentiality
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures. Escalate complex issues to senior HR staff as needed
  • HR Systems Management: Update and manage HR software platforms such as ADP, Workday, or Paycom to ensure data accuracy and efficiency
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, such as trainings, team-building events, and recognition programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination or administrative support within an HR department
  • Proficient in HR software platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom)
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
