We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting HR processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a positive employee experience.
Job Responsibility:
Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, tracking required documentation, and ensuring a seamless experience
Manage offboarding processes for departing employees, including exit interviews and final paperwork
Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an efficient recruitment process
Benefits Administration: Support employees in understanding available benefits
Assist with open enrollment periods and updates for healthcare, retirement plans, and other benefits programs
HR Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
Handle sensitive employee data with the utmost confidentiality
Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures
Escalate complex issues to senior HR staff as needed
HR Systems Management: Update and manage HR software platforms such as ADP, Workday, or Paycom to ensure data accuracy and efficiency
Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, such as trainings, team-building events, and recognition programs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2+ years of experience in HR coordination or administrative support within an HR department
Proficient in HR software platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom)
Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
