Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the manufacturing industry, based in Fridley, Minnesota. The role involves a variety of HR tasks, from onboarding new hires to handling employee relations and performance management. The HR Generalist will also be expected to have a clear understanding of benefits and 401k and assist with recruitment processes.

Job Responsibility:

Implement and manage the onboarding process for new employees
Act as an intermediary between production and hourly employees
Assist in the recruitment process
Handle employee relations and performance management issues
Maintain compliance with Form I-9 verification
Understand and manage benefits and 401k plans
Assist with timesheet entries and time-off requests from hourly employees
Utilize Ceridian Dayforce for HR and payroll tasks
Use ICIMS for recruiting and Microsoft for general tasks
Develop and grow within the role and organization
Maintain accurate records and resolve customer inquiries

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role within the manufacturing industry
Proficiency in HRIS systems, specifically Ceridian and Dayforce
Demonstrable experience in managing benefits functions
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven track record of ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies
Solid background in managing and improving employee relations
Familiarity with FMLA and other leave of absence regulations
Experience with Ceridian Windows
Proven experience in managing the onboarding process for new employees
