We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in West Covina, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of human resources experience and a strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance. This role will be essential in supporting daily HR operations and ensuring a positive work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and addressing employee benefits-related questions
Ensure company policies and procedures comply with state and federal regulations
Maintain accurate employee records and files
Support performance review processes, employee development plans, and disciplinary actions as needed
Work alongside payroll to ensure accurate timekeeping, employee records, and payroll processing
Assist with employee training, onboarding sessions, and maintaining training records
Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and organizational effectiveness
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role
Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience working in staffing or recruiting environments
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
