We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join a dynamic team for a contract opportunity in the Cincinnati area. The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting a variety of human resources functions, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
Job Responsibility:
Employee Relations: Foster positive relationships between employees and management, handle employee complaints, and mediate workplace conflicts in a professional manner
Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with hiring managers to source, screen, and hire top talent. Coordinate and streamline onboarding processes for new employees
Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits inquiries, coordinate open enrollment periods, and ensure accurate benefits record-keeping
Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws/regulations, including workplace safety standards and equal employment opportunity (EEO) policies
HR Policy Management: Develop, revise, and enforce HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and legal requirements
Performance Management: Support the administration of performance evaluations, employee development programs, and succession planning efforts
Training and Development: Coordinate training workshops, implement development programs, and provide guidance to employees looking to advance their careers
HR Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and present HR reports using HRIS and analytics tools to track workforce metrics and support strategic decision-making efforts
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
Proven experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position
Knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS), such as Workday, ADP, or Concur
Strong understanding of labor laws, employee relations practices, and benefits administration
Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
