We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in WEST HARTFORD, Connecticut. As an HR Generalist, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including employee support, system administration, project management, and compliance adherence. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Job Responsibility:
Offer assistance to employees with payroll-related inquiries
Administer HRIS systems, including the processing of job and personal changes
Coordinate and manage various HR projects, employee relations programs, and morale-boosting events
Support the recruitment process by opening job listings, processing resumes, arranging interviews, assisting with reference checks, and preparing new permanent employee packets
Act as a liaison for employees, providing information and support to help resolve issues and directing them to available resources as needed
Assist with investigations into employee complaints or issues, documenting all relevant information
Ensure compliance with mandated safety programs, EEO/AAP regulations, and OSHA safety guidelines
Manage and maintain safety records, mandatory training schedules, and annual reporting
Perform other similar and related duties as required
Requirements:
Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
Must be capable of utilizing ADP Workforce Now effectively
Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential
Familiarity with Ceridian software is necessary
Must have experience working with Dayforce
A strong understanding of Benefit Functions is required
Excellent communication skills are crucial for this role
Must be well-versed in compliance procedures and regulations
Experience in handling Employee Relations is important
Must have knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures
