We are looking to add a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to our team based in Reseda, California. This role will be crucial in supporting our HR functions, dealing with ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS systems, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate HR administration tasks including background checks and benefit functions
Utilize Paycom and other Human Resources Info Systems (HRIS) to maintain employee records and process relevant information
Provide high-quality customer service, addressing and resolving inquiries related to Human Resources
Assist with recruitment coordination and scheduling interview
Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient HR operation
Assist with the use of Paycom system for various HR functions
Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and company information
Support other team members and departments with various tasks as needed
Continually update skills and knowledge to enhance service delivery
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to Human Resources
Play a key role in the improvement of HR processes and strategies
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role as a Human Resources Assistant
Proficient in using HR software, specifically ADP Workforce Now and Paycom
Experienced in conducting background checks as part of the recruitment process
Demonstrable experience in handling benefit functions, including planning and administration
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Knowledge and experience in Human Resources Administration, including compliance with HR laws and regulations
Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems, for efficient management and handling of employee data
