We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the Telecom Services industry, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. As a Human Resources (HR) Assistant, you will be tasked with high-level projects such as converting paper files to digital, updating employee handbooks, and managing open enrollments.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the digitization process of all paper-based employee records to ensure a smooth transition to a digital platform
Regularly update the company's employee handbook, ensuring that all policies are current and compliant with relevant regulations
Organize and update job descriptions to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
Oversee the open enrollment process between October 15 and November 15, ensuring all employees are informed and have access to the necessary resources
Assist in the administration of compensation updates as required
Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into the company
Utilize Microsoft Excel and Workday to manage HR administrative tasks and maintain accurate employee records
Conduct regular audits on HR processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any HR-related inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
Perform background checks and other benefit functions as required to support the HR department
Requirements:
Proficient in ADP - Financial Services
Experience with ADP Workforce Now software
Understanding of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
Familiarity with Ceridian HRMS
Ability to use About Time software
Auditing skills
Experience in conducting Background Checks
Knowledge of Benefit Functions
Excellent Customer Service skills
Skills in Human Resources (HR) Administration
Filing and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Onboarding new employees
Knowledge of Workday HR software
Experience in creating and maintaining an Employee Handbook
