We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in the high-tech electronics industry, located in Irwindale, California. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in managing HR operations, including processing payroll, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support in employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including handling new permanent paperwork and exit documentation
Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records in the HRIS
Manage payroll processing, including verification of timecards, deductions, and adjustments of benefits
Assist employees with benefits administration, such as enrollment, changes, and inquiries
Keep records updated to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Prepare HR-related documentation, including employment contracts and disciplinary actions
Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies
Assist in HR projects, such as training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and performance evaluations
Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for HR documents
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or HR-related field
Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
