Job Description:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships, increasing employee effectiveness, coaching and counseling employees, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and achieving financial objectives. The role involves recruiting, training, and maintaining staff, as well as representing the organization in various capacities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintains relationships by developing an understanding of the strategies and business operations
  • Increases employee’s effectiveness by communicating job expectations
  • Coaches, counsels and disciplines employees
  • Plans, monitors and appraises job results
  • Provides educational opportunities
  • Maximizes diversity by identifying issues
  • Coaches clients during hiring process
  • Responds to employment related civil actions, federal agency charges and employee complaints
  • Resolves manager and employee dissatisfaction
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations
  • Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations
  • Represents the organization by obtaining, clarifying and verifying documentation of situations
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget
  • Allocates program costs by preparing operational and risk reports
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and orienting employees
  • Maintains staff job results by training coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing determined Financial and Key Result Area targets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Three years of experience or more preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of management responsibility
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred
