Robert Half is seeking a Human Resources Manager in Antioch, CA. The role involves employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, HR compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, 3+ years of HR experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred certifications include PHR or SHRM-CP.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
Address employee relations issues, conducting investigations as necessary, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies
Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, draft job descriptions, and conduct recruitment activities
Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, application reviews, scheduling interviews, and extending job offers
Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization
Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and understanding available programs
Serve as a liaison with benefits providers to resolve employee issues
Support the open enrollment process and ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Prepare and maintain employment records in an accurate and timely manner
Generate HR reports and metrics as requested by leadership
Support the implementation of performance review processes, providing coaching to managers and employees as needed
Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
3+ years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to various HR functions or an HR generalist role
Strong understanding of HR principles, best practices, and employment laws
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
High levels of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
Proven organizational and time management abilities
Nice to have:
PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional)
