Job Description:

The role involves teaching Humanities and History at an international school in Foshan, China. Responsibilities include delivering UK curriculum lessons, fostering student development, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging with the school community. The school offers K-12 education with a focus on IB PYP for early years and iGCSE/A-level for middle and high school students.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the UK curriculum and international best practices
Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports student development
Foster critical thinking, inquiry, and a global perspective within the classroom
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum and extracurricular activities
Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students through mentorship and guidance
Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student progress

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
Experience teaching the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Primary and the UK curriculum (iGCSE) for Secondary
Previous international teaching experience, preferably in Asia, is highly desirable
Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
