Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons (History, Geography, and Social Sciences) to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Create and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and valued
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning experience for every student
Supervise Teaching Assistants and support their contribution to lessons
Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and supporting students' well-being
Promote careers in humanities through themed events, educational visits, and guest speakers
Attend staff meetings, training, and school events.

Requirements:

Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and ability to motivate students of all abilities
Effective communication, organisational, and time-management skills
Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification/experience
Complete Child Protection Training
Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young persons they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
