Job Description:

Teachanywhere is seeking an experienced and dedicated Whole School ICT/ Computer Science Teacher to join a vibrant and progressive international school in Mandalay, Myanmar. This school follows the British National Curriculum and provides small class sizes, an emphasis on sporting activities, and varied extracurricular opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Develop computer and technology skills in your students
Inspire a love of technology among students
Help young minds discover the power of modern technology and unlock their potential

Requirements:

Fully qualified with at least 3 years of experience
Bachelors Degree in ICT or Computer Sciences and a PGCE
UK National Curriculum experience is highly desirable
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with EAL students
Must have resilience, and be flexible
Dedicated, hardworking professionals who are interested in living and furthering their careers in a fascinating location offering a unique cultural experience
be a fully qualified and/or licensed teacher
be able to pass police checks and background checks including references
be a proficient English speaker
possess good classroom management skills
be a citizen of the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the USA or Canada (to meet visa requirements)
remain open minded, resilient and keen to contribute to the future success of the school

Nice to have:

UK National Curriculum experience
previous experience of working with EAL students
