Job Description:

Lead and develop strategic sourcing initiatives for a dynamic, global FMCG leader. Responsible for managing supplier relationships, driving cost savings, and implementing innovative procurement strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders globally and regionally to align with business objectives and ensure sustainable sourcing practices.

Job Responsibility:

Lead demand and spend management, liaising with stakeholders to develop procurement strategies
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions
Develop and implement a sustainable sourcing strategy aligned with company values
Conduct market research and build category expertise to inform sourcing decisions
Lead negotiations to achieve cost savings and optimize payment terms
Identify and implement synergy opportunities across regions and functions
Establish price forecasts for budget cycles and reporting

Requirements:

10+ years of procurement experience, preferably in indirect procurement within an FMCG or multinational corporation
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Ability to lead complex sourcing events (RFPs)
Strong financial understanding (budgeting, payment terms, cash flow)
Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) in English
Experience collaborating across global and regional functions
Proven ability to drive cost savings and optimize procurement processes
Experience developing and implementing sustainability initiatives within procurement is preferred
Japanese language skills are a plus
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Master's degree preferred
