Job Description:

Our Burnaby-based government client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead impactful modernization and deployment projects within an enterprise environment.

Job Responsibility:

Assess current and future enterprise business requirements by liaising with the business and IT stakeholders
Manages the creation and ongoing management of a platform roadmap
Assesses vendor solution options for risk, benefits, cost, technical constraints, and opportunities as they relate to the purpose of the platform
Ensures that applicable frameworks, quality systems, and solution designs provide a proper operational fit
Analyses business requirements and determine technical requirements for systems development
Collaborates with application, infrastructure, and security teams to produce architecture and design deliverables
Acts as a project manager and technical expert for development and implementation of architecture solutions
Acts as an overseeing manager for platform sustainment teams and development teams

Requirements:

Minimum nine (9) years of IT Infrastructure Project Management experience, or equivalent
Proven experience in delivering infrastructure projects
Experience with complex infrastructure technologies, including system software and hardware components, data center operations, cloud, mobile, system integrations
Data Centre experience
Cloud Migration experience
